Why haven't any American Idols had any good songs produced?

I only liked two songs one buy Kelly Clarkson Miss Independant and the song Paula Abdul sung Dance Like Theres No Tomorrow. I quit watching American Idol because none of the produce any good songs. Does anyone else think the same?
