Is Silent Hill (2006) generally a gory movie?

I don't generally like gore-based movies. I like horror movies based more on suspense and atmospheric creepiness. I don't mind a blood or a little bit of gore, but is this movie based on gore? Does it show gorey scenes or are they just suggested?
