How many ways are there to be saved in the John 3:16; world all the way back to Abel?

There is only one way to be saved. Salvation can be described in many ways. Saved, born again and all of these are by faith so ti is true whoever endures to the end is saved, Salvation begins with repentance and accepting the atonement of Jesus Christ.
