My brother thinks high school is going to be like high school musical, help?

my little brother is a bit on the girly side and is about to start high school entering the 9th grade...hes really into disneys high school musical and has been up all hours of the night practicing dance routines and singing..he thinks that his high school is going to be like in the movie, full of singing dancing, jumping on desks and singing, marching down hallways singing, etc..its ridiculous but he really thinks its going to be like this..the problem is our high school is located in one of the more poor parts of oakland california and is heavily populated by gangs and what not..how do i snap him into reality?
